Alpine is located near Big Bend National Park, a remote area with limited employment opportunities. Owning any business is a challenge here, but the distance to art shows and our tiny population makes it especially difficult for artists. Hands-on business experience, along with weekly pottery classes, allow our employees to acquire skills vital to making a living as an artist.
