When I first approached Hanson Galleries, they weren’t interested in my work. But when they saw my work at Buyers Market of American Craft, they took a second look at my work at decided that maybe, just maybe, I was a good fit after all.
That was over 20 years ago.
It’s still hard to believe that I have been selling to Hanson Galleries, in Houston, Texas, for over 20 years.
The owners, Art and Donna Milstein, along with their gallery manager, Larry Williams, truly know how to run a gallery. They treat each of their artists with great respect and care, but what truly sets them apart from the competitive, Houston retail scene, is their warm and gracious presence whenever someone walks through their doors.
I have stopped in, unannounced, on several occasions to show friends and family my work and Donna has dropped everything to give us a personal tour of the gallery.
It’s their customer service that makes me proud to sell my inlaid and one-of-a-kind pieces in their gallery. But I’m not alone in my love for Hanson Galleries, they’ve been voted the Top Retailer of American Craft for 10 years!
If you get a chance, stop by one of their two locations in person. If you’re not in the immediate area, you can check them out online at http://hansongalleries.com.
Their two locations are: 746 Memorial City Mall, Houston, TX 77024 and 5000 Westheimer #106, Houston, TX 77056
